Nassia Boulakou is a Global Regulatory Lead at Novo Nordisk A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark where she resides the last 14 years. She has a solid international multidisciplinary experience in regulatory affairs and clinical drug development. Her expertise includes drug development and regulatory approval processes from product development to registration, including direct contact with regulatory authorities with a main focus on the US, EU, and Japan. She has followed product development from First in Human clinical studies until filing and regulatory approvals of new drugs and has been driving regulatory strategies for important submissions. She has solid experience with clinical trials, clinical and non-clinical requirements, labeling development. Nassia Boulakou received her Pharmacy Degree from University of Patras and her MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She has been working in the pharmaceutical industry the last 10 years (Ferring, Novo Nordidk).
She has further worked for a couple of years in a small biotech on setting the company direction towards a GCP compliant environment.
She is a trained business coach, received the Advanced Diploma on Evidence-based coaching from Athens Coaching Institute. In her free time, she is an Argentinian tango teacher.
