Το Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών συμμετέχει στην Ευρωπαϊκή Συμμαχία EUNICoast (www.eunicoast.eu), ενισχύοντας την διεθνή του παρουσία και συμβάλλοντας στον επιτελικό στόχο των στρατηγικών πανεπιστημιακών συμπράξεων στην Ευρώπη. Χρηματοδοτούμενη από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή με πάνω από 14 εκατ. ευρώ, η πρωτοβουλία “EUNICoast: The European University of Islands, Ports and Coastal Territories” υλοποιείται από 13 ευρωπαϊκά ιδρύματα τριτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης.
Το EUNICoast διοργανώνει το πρώτο του διαδικτυακό συνέδριο στις 27 Σεπτεμβρίου 2024, από τις 13:30 έως τις 18:30 μέσω ZOOM.
Το συνέδριο, μετά από μια σύντομη παρουσίαση της EUNICoast Alliance, θα προτείνει μια σειρά εισηγήσεων από τα πανεπιστήμια-μέλη της, στους πέντε κύριους θεματικούς τομείς του έργου:
- Identities, Local Knowledge, and Cultural Heritage in Islands & Coastal Communities.
- Governance, Planning, Management, and Monitoring of Islands and Coastal Communities.
- Health, Biodiversity Protection, Nature-based Solutions, and Sustainable Exploration of Coastal/Marine Resources.
- Health, Biodiversity Protection, Nature-based Solutions, and Sustainable Exploration of Coastal/Marine Resources.
- Engineered and Data-driven Solutions for Coastal Infrastructures, Marine Renewable Energy, Marine Safety, and Navigation Systems.

EUNICoast: The European University of Islands, Ports and Coastal Territories – 1st online conference 27/09/2024
The University of Patras, strengthening its international presence and contributing to the strategic goal of university alliances in Europe, participates in the European Univeristy Alliance “EUNICoast: The European University of Islands, Ports and Coastal Territories” (www.eunicoast.eu). Funded by the European Commission with over 14 million Euro, EUNICoast is implemented by 13 European higher education institutions and involves over 100 partners.
EUNICoast is hosting its first online conference on 27 September 2024. The conference is planed from 13:30 to 18:30 by ZOOM. The aim of this conference, after a short presentation of EUNICoast Alliance, is to propose a selection of talks from our partners in the five main domains covered by EUNICoast Alliance:
