Dr. Christina Kalogeropoulou is Professor of Radiology at the Medical Department of the University of Patras. She is a graduate of the Medical Department of the University of Patras. She completed the specialty in Radiology at the University Hospital of Patras and she subspecialized for 1 year in Scotland. She is clinical director of the CT Unit at the Radiology Department of the University General Hospital of Patras. She participates in the training of junior doctors, and she is responsible for their training program. She teaches undergraduate medical students at the University of Patras and participates as a tutor in postgraduate programs of the Universities of Patras and Thessaly. Her research work has resulted in numerous publications (142) in international scientific journals [Scopus 2477 citations, h-index 27]. She is a reviewer in international journals, and she has many invited lectures in Greek and international scientific congresses. She is an active member of numerous Greek and International Scientific Societies. She is an alternate member of the Board of the University Hospital of Patras since 2020. She has served as a member of the Board of the Hellenic College of Radiology. She is a member of the educational committee of the Hellenic Radiological Society and of «Hybrid Imaging” sub-committee. She has served as an alternate member of the Examination Committee for Specialist for training in Radiology. She was elected as a member of the Scientific Council of the University Hospital of Patras and of the Ethics Committee. She is a member of the Undergraduate Program Committee, of the Medical School of University of Patras and member of the Doctoral Dissertation Advisory Committee. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the MSc “Personalized Medicine” and “Life Sciences- Program” of the University of Patras.
