Graduate from the Mining – Metallurgy Scholl of the National Technical University of Athens (1992) with a diploma mark of 8,08/10 , Panos Loukas holds also a Master in Business Administration from the University of Sheffield in UK. He has been the Managing Director of the Concession Company GEFYRA SA since December ’22. He has been working in the French multinational company VINCI Concessions since 2010. He participates in various Committees of the French Group VINCI for the Innovation, Environment, Health & Safety, Asset Management, etc. In his capacity also as Project Director of VINCI Highways for the development of Concessions and PPP road projects, he was involved in international tenders & projects in Greece, EMEA and North America. He made numerous presentations in international conferences, symposia, etc. regarding infrastructure & concession projects. He is a member of the BoD of HELLASTRON (Hellenic Association of Toll Road Network) and a member of AECO (Association of Chief Executive Officers). Panos started his career in 1995 as site engineer for the reputable Greek Construction Company “EDRASIS C. Psallidas”. In 2002 he was appointed as Head of the Underground Works division and in 2004 he assumed the role of the General Director of the newly established Romanian branch of the company. Under his management and until his withdrawal in 2009, the company ranked amongst the leading construction companies in the Romanian market. Mr. Loukas is fluent in English, French and Romanian. He is married with the civil engineer Athanasia Voutyritsa; they have three daughters.
