Dr Eleni N. Albani is an Associate Professor of the Department of Nursing at the University of Patras, in “Pediatric Nursing”. She is a graduate of the Nursing department of the University of Patras, (1996), as well as of Social Work (2005) at the same institution. She has postgraduate studies in Greece and abroad and was awarded the corresponding titles: a) “Primary Health Care” of the School of Medicine of the University of Thessaly (2010), b) “Management of Health Units” from the Open University of Italy (2012). Holder of a doctoral diploma at the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly (2017). She was appointed Assistant Professor in the Nursing department of the University of Patras (2018) while in (2023) she was elected to the rank of Associate Professor where she still teaches in the department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He has taught at the Hellenic Open University (in the Public Administration Undergraduate Program of the School of Social Sciences, from 2021 to 2023). During the period October 2012- April 2015 she served as Deputy Director of the 6th Health Region of the Peloponnese, Ionian Islands, Epirus and Western Greece (Government Gazette 477/11-10-2012) with the responsibilities of monitoring and supervising the Planning and Policy Development Directorate, the Technical Service Directorate , Directorate of Informatics, the Mental Health and Public Health sectors, the operation of KEPYKA, the NSRA programs (Government Gazette 240/Β΄/08-02-2013), the supervision of Mental Health units and structures, supervision of Primary Health Care issues, the supervision of the on-call medical staff. Her writing work includes the writing of chapters in foreign language and Greek books and she has published articles in Greek and foreign scientific journals.
